The Portland Ballet Youth Companys production of George Balanchines exuberant Stars and Stripes, with music by John Philip Sousa, marches into PCC Sylvanias state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center Memorial Day Weekend. With performances Friday/Saturday, May 24 & 25 at 7 PM, the 90-minute program includes Petipas comic Don Quixote, Dolin/Perrots virtuosic Pas de Quatre and Josie Moseleys deeply moving Holocaust remembrance, When I Close My Eyes.
